How to Dry Up Pimples and spots Overnight – Emergency Tactics When You Need to Put Your Best Face Forward Pimples and spots can occur anywhere on the body (back, chest, and legs), on the head and of coarse the face.

All pimples and spots are certainly annoying but it is the face pimples and spots that cause the most anxiety as you cannot cover them up with clothing.

How to Dry Up Pimples and spots

Don’t they just seem to appear out of nowhere right when you need your best looks for a date, going to your prom, or your wedding? It’s no coincidence because our emotional state is often reflected in how our skin looks.

How to Dry Up Pimples and spots to stop them from occurring? Well, one of the best things you can do to prevent pimples and spots is avoid stress. I know this is easier said than done, but if at all possible try not to worry too much. When pimples and spots occur despite your best effort to stay relaxed, the best advice I can give is to stay calm. You do need to take action to enjoy an overnight pimple cure, but the wrong kind of action will just make the problem worse.

Whatever you do don’t pick or squeeze the pimples and spots with your fingers. This will just affect the area around the pimple negatively, leaving it even more red and inflamed. Obviously, if a pimple occurs the day before an important event you don’t have time to use the usual treatments and medications. Fortunately, there is natural pimple and spot home remedies you can try to clear those pimples and spots that will significantly help reduce there appearance.

Toothpaste is the best pimple and spot remedy on How to Dry Up Pimples and spots I recommend as my two girls use this method on their pimples and spots. Because a pimple is inflamed the best thing to do first is apply an ice cube to the affected area(s). This will help the swelling go down. Surprisingly, so will heat, but unless you have a device like the Zeno, hitting the right temperature and location is difficult.

The next step is to put a dab of toothpaste (not gel) on the pimples and spots. Do a spot test first for an hour to see how your skin reacts to the paste. If you don’t see any adverse effects consider applying the toothpaste right before you go to bed and leaving it on overnight while you sleep.

This really works to reduce pimples and spots and is one of the best ways howto dry up a pimples and spots fast and get clear skin overnight. Most of the time the swelling will go down enough that the pimple can be easily be covered with makeup.

Yes, it is disheartening, go ahead and scream. Just when you thought you had left those pesky acne problems behind with the teenage years, here it rears its ugly head to haunt you in the adult years – but why?

Did you know that, according to the American Academy of Dermatology, adult acne occurs in approximately 80 percent of people in their 20s and 30s? This includes about 17 million people of all ages who suffer with this skin disorder. And, it is a fact that women suffer from acne more often than men. However, adult acne is still a serious widespread problem for men as well.

What Causes Adult Acne?

Acne is the official name for a skin disorder that many refer to as pimples that pop up on our skin and sometimes underneath the skin. So what, exactly, are pimples and what causes them? Well, basically, pimples are skin growths that are comprised of dead skin cells, oil and bacteria which clog pores and cause the hair ducts to become inflamed. These pimples can be in the form of blackheads (bumps that are open to the air, but embedded in the skin and can be black or yellowish in color), or whiteheads (white-colored bumps that are closed). Whiteheads can be very sore, and if they burst, can cause the infection which leads to nodular or cystic acne problems, as well as scarring.

Other factors that can affect that skin and cause acne to be more problematic for women include, stress and hormonal fluctuations (which can make the skin’s oil glands overact), some cosmetics (which can clog pores), and also dirty cosmetic sponges which can harbor bacteria which can lead to acne when used on the face. For men, adult acne can be a bit more severe than that in women because of testosterone levels, men can get acne from hormonal changes as well.

Common Treatment Options

Treatment options are varied and the correct choice for treatment of your acne depends on what type of acne you have and how severe it is. Sometimes acne problems can be treated with topical medications or prescriptions (including antibiotics for more severe cases), but make sure you ask your doctor to inform you of any risks and possible side effects. Natural or home remedies, such as using tea tree oil has worked well for some people. Laser treatments, such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion or resurfacing are also being used to treat acne. But, again, make sure you are made aware of risks and side effects, and be sure to use only a board certified specialist for laser procedures.

Alternative Treatment Options

If you are weary of taking prescription medicine or undergoing laser treatments to try and eliminate your acne, you may consider herbal remedies which have helped countless people to get rid of acne.Adult acne is arguably the most common skin disorder imaginable. However, all hope is not lost in being acne free, if you follow the right diet and skin care regimen.

I’m Audrey Malone and I have been acne-free for over 4 years now, and you can quickly get rid of your acne too with an acne-free diet and skin care regimen that works just by visiting: http://AcneControlTreatment.com a popular site with information on how to get rid of acne for good.

Get rid of them!

That’s a common cry for people suffering with back acne, or bacne, as it’s sometimes called. But no matter what it’s called, people who have back pimples are just as bothered by it as people who have facial acne problems to deal with. It just goes to show that zits can break out anywhere on the body, at anytime, and the back is an especially vulnerable area for acne breakouts.

Pimples on the back are an annoyance that are, not only extremely sore and painful but, embarrassing and unsightly. You may be ashamed to show your back with visible acne pimples and cysts, and this can seriously affect how you feel about yourself and possibly even your desire to participate in some social activities. After all, who wants to go to, say, a pool party so people can stare at your back boils, bumps and cysts with disgust? Or you may not want to wear v-necks or t-shirts for fear the back acne will show over the top of them. No matter what you do, the main thing is, to get rid of your back acne problems for good you need to follow an effective treatment regimen that will eliminate it and keep it under control.

What Causes Back Acne (Bacne)?

The most common form of acne develops when hair follicles on the skin become blocked with dead skin cells, coupled with the over-production of oil secretion by the sebaceous glands under the skin. When pores are blocked, oil builds up beneath them, causing bacteria to grow and multiply. Because of this, the affected area becomes inflamed and produces acne lesions or pimples in the form of pustules, cysts, whiteheads, blackheads or boils.

Back acne is also a sign that toxins have built up in your body. One way for the body to eliminate these toxins is through the skin, and the back is a common area which is affected.

#1 “Get Rid of Back Acne” Mistake

The biggest mistake that you can make when trying to get rid of acne on your back is to squeeze the bumps and not following an effective bacne cure treatment regimen. Do not pop pimples or rupture cysts or boils on your back. This will only cause more irritation and encourage the bacteria and infection to spread and to fester.

What Can You Do?

Acne is not confined to teenagers and puberty, it also prevalent in adults and in women mostly during pregnancy. Acne is often characterized by pimples and breakouts all over the skin in large numbers, frequently seen on the face and the back. It is caused due to the over activity of the sebaceous glands or the oil producing glands. When it combines with dead skin cells, hormones and bacteria, the oily substances are trapped inside the pores and causes swelling. The lumps often have a crown of a white head or a black head or even red lumps, which are very tender. Acne, if not treated on time, can even lead to scarring. Some acne go so deep inside the skin that they form into nodules and cysts, which leaves scars which may not disappear even after healing. Acne can be caused due to stress, fatigue, and cosmetics and even due to humidity, although nothing has been proved till date. Do’s and Don’ts on the acne prone skin :

Professional treatment is the best for acne, the earlier the treatment provided, the better. A good doctor will be in a position to treat acne-using medications by controlling the over-active sebaceous glands, hormonal imbalance, or even stress.

It is good not to squeeze or break the pimples and acne, as it will lead to spread the infection and can make the area swell and might even lead to permanent scarring.

Usage of oily cosmetics are also not recommended, as the acne prone skin already is oily enough, usage of such cosmetics will add up to it. Instead of using oily cosmetics, it is better to go for water based ones, which might be less harsh. It is always good to remove make up at night, if left on the whole night might cause irritation to the skin.

The acne prone skin should be pampered with gentle wash and pat dry. Vigorous scrubbing needs to be avoided as it only worsens the condition and may even block the pores.

Regular shampooing is recommended as it may reduce the pimple appearing on the forehead, it is good to avoid hair products like gels and pomades, as they are oily.

Cosmetics which are non comedogenic should be used. Acnes sometimes can make the skin hypersensitive, hence sunscreens can be used to avoid sunburns. It is good to avoid tanning, as it cannot make the skin clearer.

Over-the-counter products containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide can curb mild acne.

There are thousands of skin treatment websites out there that have the “perfect” skin care products to control your skin condition. But is that really what you’re seeking? A product that can control the problems you have with your skin or a skin care solution that will rid you completely of the problem at hand. I would opt for a total solution over a temporary fix any day! And I’m sure you would too.

The skin care industry is a billion dollar business. There are skin products for this and skin products for that. Some skin care products are worthless, let’s just be frank. And there are others that provide minimal results, while some really work to provide a visual change. But even the best skin care products are still a temporary fix. One must continue to purchase skin care products every month to maintain the results. This results in alot of money being spent, thus creating a continual financial obligation to maintain healthy, clear skin.

So now in order to achieve the results of clear skin, one must continually purchase over-the-counter products. Is the problem fixed? No. It’s simply treated with a temporary fix. Has the root cause been addressed? No. I say this because skin conditions are a result of an internal problem. I will say it again. Skin problems are an internal problem. No external remedy can permanently solve an internal problem.

So how does one solve an internal problem? With an internal solution. Many might call it “homemade skin care”, “natural skin care”, or skin care by way of “alternative medicine”. This is the answer for an internal condition, yet most people are convinced that an external product will fix anything. But it won’t. In fact, it can’t.

Homemade skin care is the best decision you’ll ever make for the skin condition that you’re dealing with. Why? Because going the route of addressing your skin problems through a homemade skin care remedy will deal with the root cause. It will deal with the root issues that are causing the skin to breakout. Some of these causes are:

Once these internal issues are brought back to normal function, it’s amazing how quickly the skin reflects the changes. Blemishes begin to clear up. Rashes fade and the itching stops. Pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and even scarring fade away. How? Through alternative medicine–specifically natural herbs.

The right homemade skin care recipe will clear up ANY skin condition. This includes: acne, cystic acne, eczema, psoriasis, various forms of dermatitis & more. Remember, the key is addressing the root issue, which are internal problems you have going on. You cannot fix an internal condition with an external patch. So get educated and informed about Homemade skin care. It beats every over-the-counter product hands down! It’s the answer you’ve been waiting for–the answer for clear skin.

The word acne has been described by many different names, such as acne pimples, zits, papules, pustules, lesions, nodules, blackheads, whiteheads, and cysts but these are just terms that refer to the actual condition.

True acne is considered to be a disorder of the oil glands (called sebaceous glands) of the skin. These sebaceous glands are most prevalant on the face, neck, chest, shoulders and back. They contain a material called sebum, which is a lubricating substance for the skin that normally makes its way to the skin surface through the skin’s pores. The pore consists of a tiny hair and a hair follicle.

Acne problems start when the skin pores become plugged and the sebum produced by the sebaceous glands cannot get to the skin surface – instead it gets stuck in the hair follicle. Skin bacteria then starts multiplying in the follicle, the plugged pores become inflamed, and lesions on the skin appear. This is how acne develops and manifests itself.

The next big question is: Why? What causes acne to happen in the first place? There are different schools of thought on this. Some doctors say the cause of acne is not known, while others say that acne is hormonally induced. Some authorities insist that diet plays a big role in the cause and treatment of this condition, and some say that it’s genetics that tend to determine whether someone will have acne breakouts or not have them.

Whatever the cause is, whether it’s a constant and recurring problem, or just an annoying breakout once and awhile, there are millions of people in every age group that suffer with acne, from teenagers to adults.

If you’re wondering how to remove acne quickly and for good, here are some tips that have helped hundreds of people get clear for good (including myself)

….and it’s all natural.

Stop eating foods that mess with your blood sugar

When you have blackheads, pimples, and cystic acne, it is usually caused by eating foods that cause you to be insulin resistant (a fancy way to say mess with blood sugar). Without getting too scientific, basically foods high in sugar (including many grains) spike your insulin and eventually cause your skin to product more sebum (oil).

There are many foods you may think are healthy for you that are actually making your acne worse! You must learn what these are and avoid them like the plague.

Eat foods that IMPROVE your insulin resistance

On the flip side of the coin are foods that are excellent at controlling your blood sugar. Once you learn how to eat and combine the correct foods, your insulin levels will regulate and may see a dramatic improvement on your skin.

Learn which supplements to take

There are certain supplements out there that seemingly work like magic when trying to remove acne. Certain supplements that help aid in digestion, for instance, are highly recommended. They are all natural and can be found at your local health food store. They are very inexpensive too.

Of course, before taking any supplements, make sure you consult your physician.

It doesn’t matter if you are 14 or 35 with adult acne….an all natural acne treatment does work, you just have to take the right approach and learn exactly what to do. It’s easier than you think.

Acne is a common skin disease that does not discriminate. Studies have shown that over 85% of all people 12-24 have acne and that one in four adults between the ages of 25 and 44 experiences acne on a regular basis. Although no one knows exactly what causes acne, a wide range of acne cures have emerged such as Accutane, blue light therapy, sulfur treatments and chemical peels which all claim to rid the sufferer of acne forever. But there are also several up and-coming natural acne treatments out on the market today that are becoming increasing popular not only because they may help clear stubborn acne but because they have very little side effects and do not contain harsh ingredients that can sometimes make acne worse. Three of the more popular treatments are:

ACNEVOLUTION: Acnevolution is a natural treatment in which muscle massages are applied to neuralgic zones of the face and body. Started by Susan Thompson, an expert at the Dermatology Institute of England, the Acnevolution claims these “draining massages” will help you improve your blood circulation and stop the accumulation of residues that cause skin problems. The Acnevolution also includes a strict skin care regime. The average treatment time is generally three to six weeks, with the hope that acne and any overproduction of oil will be gone after 12 weeks.

VILANTE: Vilante (d-Calcium Pantothenate) is a water-soluble vitamin which claims to stop excessive skin oil from being released and reduces pore size thereby stopping acne. It’s 100% natural and can be taken in capsule and powder form. The creators of Vilante claim that this acne treatment is second only to Accutane in effectiveness. There can be side effects such as stool loosening, mild stomach irritation and headaches, but according the the makers of Vilante, it is impossible to overdose. Results typically can be seen after taking 20 vilante capsules a day for 3 months.

ACNEXUS Natural Acne scrub: Acnexus is an all natural acne scrub which claims to heal and prevent breakouts within 24 hours. The makers of Acnexus claim that this acne treatment does not contain any mineral oils, alcohol, Parbens, sulfates or Benzoyl Peroxide. Ingredients of Acnexus include: Organic Aloe Vera Gel, White Willow Bark, Chaparral, Gotu Kola, Alfalfa, Valerian Root, Green Tea, Walnut Shell Grit, Redmond Clay, Vegetable Glycerin, Jojoba, Oatmeal, Avocado, MSM, Bergamot Oil, Chamomile Oil, Clary Sage, Frankincense Oil, Geranium Essential Oil, Jasmine Essential Oil, Juniper Oil, Lavender Oil, Palmarosa Oil, Parchouli Oil, Rosemary Oil, Ylang Ylang and Vitamin E Oil. Applied 1 to 2 times daily, Acnexus promises to remove dead skin cells, eliminate blackheads, heal red, itchy skin and reduce the production of oil.

All of the above acne treatments offer money back guarantees and have testimonials and reviews listed in various forums and message boards. As with any treatment do your research and remember that consistency is the key to better looking skin.

Acne is one of the most common skin disorders in the world. It generally occurs when dead skin cells and oil block the pores of the skin. In its common form, “acne vulgaris” (or pimples), this clogging results in the appearance of red and swollen blemishes in the skin. These inflammations occur mainly on the face, chest, back, shoulders and upper arms. There are other forms of acne that aren’t that mild. These can appear as – blackheads, whiteheads, pustules, papules or cysts.

Blackheads- These are caused by the hardening of oils in the skin pores due to the excess oil produced by sebaceous glands (the skin’s oil producing glands). The tip of the clogged pores, that is exposed to the air, turns black (due to oxidation) resulting in the formation of blackheads.

Whiteheads- Whiteheads are white raised spots that show up around the cheekbone, nose, or where the skin is fine. The formation of whiteheads is very similar to that of blackheads except that these occur where skin is delicate and the clogged grease does not get exposed to air. Therefore, there is no darkening of the tips (due to oxidation).

Pustules, Papules- Pustules are small pus-filled inflammations on the skin surface. These commonly occur on face, shoulder and the back. Papules are deeper inflammatory lesions that are raised and solid. In comparison to pustules, they take longer to heal and are known to result in scarring.

Cysts- Cysts are thicker, yellow pus-like inflammations. Quite often, papular or nodular acne results in the formation of a cyst. These inflammations may occur one at a time, or they maybe more than one over the common acne areas – face, neck, back, chest and shoulders.

There are treatments available for each form of acne. But, since the severity of the condition varies by individual, you are advised to consult a dermatologist to determine the best course of action.

The remaining 4 skin disorders Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea and Skin Cancer will be discussed in a separate article.
